I'm a former auto mechanic. For years, when people asked what I did, I told them, "I'm only a mechanic." Today I'm an author and a speaker.

I grew up a shy kid in Ogema, a farming town in northern Wisconsin with about 300 people. My first book, SWING, is my story and the twenty principles that helped me listen to the voice of courage instead of the voice of fear.
